The Mission
RHYTHM IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
D-Lish was born from a deep love of rhythm and movement — a project that channels the raw energy of African musical heritage through the precision of modern electronic production. The core conviction is simple: rhythm is a universal language, one that transcends geography, culture, and the barriers of spoken communication.
From the hypnotic pulse of Afro Trance to the soulful depths of Deep House, every release is crafted to move bodies and elevate spirits — on dancefloors from Lagos to London, from Mumbai to Manchester.
The D-Lish project operates on a daily creative practice. New music is made and uploaded continuously — treating the creative process as a discipline rather than a product. The result is a catalogue of more than 1,400 tracks on SoundCloud alone, spanning short three-minute edits designed for social media to extended forty-minute DJ sets built for deep listening.
This is not music made to a brief or to a trend. It is music made because making music is what D-Lish does — every single day, without exception.
The Sound

Afro Trance
Hypnotic, percussive and deeply rhythmic. Rooted in West African polyrhythm and elevated by modern synthesiser production. Built for trance states and dancefloor transcendence. The beating heart of the D-Lish sound.
Deep House
Soulful, warm and groove-driven. Drawing from the Chicago and London House traditions, D-Lish Deep House is characterised by lush chord progressions, organic bass lines and a warmth that rewards extended listening.
Electronic Trance
High-energy, melodic and euphoric. Designed for peak-time moments, Electronic Trance tracks from D-Lish combine driving four-on-the-floor rhythms with soaring lead synths and dramatic breakdowns that release tension in waves.
Dance & Movement
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT ARE INSEPARABLE
In African musical tradition, music and movement have never been separate disciplines. The D-Lish project honours this relationship through a dedicated dance content strand that runs alongside the music. On TikTok, choreography videos, freestyle movement, and dance tutorials bring the music into the physical world — giving the audience a way to engage with the sound through their bodies as well as their ears.
The dance content has found a particularly strong resonance with audiences in South Asia, where a deep appreciation for rhythm-driven music and a vibrant dance culture have created a natural affinity with the D-Lish aesthetic. With over 15,000 TikTok followers and 129,000 likes, the dance dimension of the project has become as important as the music itself.
